Windows 10: Unable to activate Windows 11 using original Windows 10 license

Hi there, Some background. I have a desktop computer at home with a genuine retail Windows 10 Pro license. While I wanted to upgrade to Windows 11, my system did not support Secure Boot so I couldn't do the upgrade at the time. My Windows key and old system are registered to my personal Microsoft account.A few days ago, I installed a set of new components motherboard, CPU, ... and performed a clean install of Windows. As I was planning to upgrade to Windows 11 anyway, I directly downloaded the install media for Windows 11 Pro which would be the version I would have originally upgraded to.A

Ahem... lost my activation when upgrading from AMD Phenom II to my XEON...
Installed "legit" activated Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and yes i paid for the license originally, but that key no longer works.. i paid more than enough to MS *Shadedshun :shadedshu:

Click Upgrade Now, it will give you a download with an app that gives you legit activated Windows 10 based on your Win 7 activation.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
