    Hi,

    I recently updated my windows 10 Home after which it asked to activate windows. I did the troubleshoot and it showed that I have a digital license but after the troubleshoot and restart, it asks me to activate again showing error code : 0x80004005.

    We would appreciate if you could provide more details about the issue. Is your computer connected to a (domain) secured network? Aside from updating the computer, have you performed any changes prior to the issue?

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Unable to Activate Win 8

    I was about to suggest run CMD as Admin and then do a "slmgr -ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" activation...does anyone know if that works with win8?
