Windows 10: Unable to add account as Other User in Windows 11 Pro to my Work Laptop Dell

I can sign into Microsoft online with my business account, but when I try to add the same account to my laptop with Windows 11 Pro 22H2, the system responds with "Looks like this isn't a Microsoft account. Try another email or sign up for a new one."Despite being logged in online and seeing that my desktop is active within the devices tab of my Microsoft account, the system refuses to move forward with adding the account.The same account has been added under Accounts > Email & accounts, for use on other apps Teams, Outlook, but I need to make my work account the primary administrator

Connecting Windows 11 Dell Laptop to HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw

Hi,

I had been using a Windows 10 laptop along with the LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw so long and had no problems. Now I have purchased a new Windows 11 Dell Laptop but am unable to connect wirelessly to the LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw, though the printer is still working with my old windows 10 laptop. I understand there is no driver for this printer compatible with windows 11 machine as the product is not supported on Windows 11. Can anyone suggest if a work around is possible or not. Are there any driver updates available to make it work? If not when is it likely to be available? Regards HEndow

 

Unable to add another user to my Laptop

As per the issue description you are unable to add a new user profile on your Windows 10 laptop.
For creating new user profile you may refer to the steps provided in the article mentioned below.

  Press Windows key + R

  Type control userpasswords2 and click OK

  Click the option, "Sign-in without a Microsoft account

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown
