Windows 10: Unable to add non-administrator Microsoft 365 accounts as a user account to access a PC.

My organization subscribes to Microsoft 365 cloud services. We have users *** Email address is removed for privacy *** who is a cloud Global Administrator and normaluser@mydomain who is not a cloud administrator.On WIndows 11 Pro PCs, I can add *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to be a user on the PC using netplwiz. However, whenever I tried to add a non cloud admin user such as *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, it will complain with:It is certainly not a network problem as I can access office.com without issue simultaneously.I tried and faced the exact same problematic experience on two different Windows 11 Pro PCs, using four different Micr

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account


Hi Daryl, welcome to the Ten Forums.

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address. Does anyone know how to delete an administrator account from another os on another partition (or using a live cd)?

I dont have access to the administrator account and i need to remove the other administrator account
