Windows 10: Unable to adjust core performance, power options

    Unable to adjust core performance, power options


    As you can see, (hope the attachment loads correctly) this functions seems to be missing, I am the only user on the laptop, hence also the admin. in msconfig, advanced options shows that only 3 cores are available when I should have 4. CPU-Z and Core-manager app only load when checking, never producing any results.


    Any tips & replies is appreciated.

    Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

    Hi Ella,

    To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

    • Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
    • See if you can adjust the brightness.

    If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Power options missing High Performance option


    The command should be: powercfg /list

    Well, it looks like this below was reported to work, but it will remove "Sleep" with CsEnabled set to 0.

    Leaving the slider at "Best Performance" would be the same as using High Performance though.
