Windows 10: Unable to any video or sound after latest Windows 10 updates

After your latest updates over a fortnight ago, I have been unable to play any video clips from Youtube, or my own video files. When I try to play a vidoe file, it says an error occurred and then gives this: ID lpRv0lhPByD9kNOC. My computer was perfectly okay before the updates. Can you please fix the issue, thank you. Nick

latest windows 10 update - no sound

the latest Windows 10 update has been installed and I have no sound on news videos, Microsoft games etc but I have done sound tests on Skype for example and all is working normally. I have followed the "troubleshoot" solution but no result.

Any suggestions?

• Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.

• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2

I suggest you to try updating the Sound drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to update the sound driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Sound, Video and Game Controllers’.
  
• Right-click on the Sound device listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
• Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
• Restart the computer after its updated and verify.

Method 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Sound driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the Sound drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Sound drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
