Windows 10: Unable to attach files on Gmail.

The problem started today after an automatic windows update. ERROR: This file is 0 bytes, so it will not attached.

Method 1:

I suggest you clear the Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on theMore actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Edge.

2. Select Settings and click on
Choose what to clear.

3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on
Clear.

I suggest you to contact the Gmail support for further assistance on the issue.

unable to attach files to my gmail

My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Microsoft Consumer like you. I do apologize if you are having issues with your Gmail. I wanted to know if you are currently using Windows Mail wherein your GMAIL is added. If you are currently using Windows Mail, my suggestion is try to reset the Mail Application and here's the steps.

* Click START and search for APPS & FEATURES and open it.

* Scroll down at the middle until you see the Mail and Calendar app then click on it the click Advanced Options.

* Scroll Down and try to reset the APP and check your email again.

You may also want to consider to remove your Gmail in windows mail and add it back just to check if that will resolve the problem.

You may also want to try to use a Web Browser like EDGE or Chrome and check if you will going to have an issue attaching a file.

• Are the attachments still missing when viewing your Outlook account on Lumia 550?
• YES , missing on OUTLOOK:COM and GMAIL
• I see they ONLY after self forwarding
• Are the attachments show up online at Outlook.com?
• YES, i see they online
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• I am Phone.store up to date
• On the feedback they are MANY THREADS

I have on the pc full access to OUTLOOK.COM via visual basic...., but no acccess on the phone...then i can do nothing

With app SECURE GMAIL...i see gmail attachments....
