Windows 10: Unable to boot from Bootable Norton Ghost USB

I have 2 Toshiba laptops and I create back up images for them.

I have created a Bootable Norton Ghost USB and on 1 of the laptops this works fine.

However on my 2nd laptop - newer model - I cannot boot from the same USB stick so that I can either restore an image that I created or take a new image.

I have tried the following

- ensured no other USBs were connected
- ensured fast boot option was turned off in power settings
- disabled secure boot in the bios
- tried other usb sticks and prepared other usbs using different methods

please help as Ive just spent most of the day trying to resolve this and ended up manually rebuidling my laptop

Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

Ghost is a disk cloning and backup tool. In Windows, we can easily create a bootable USB with your cloned system.

• First, prepare the WinPE which we will use to capture the customized image by following the steps on this

• Boot into WinPE to capture the computer image you have customized. To do it, check out this

• Then, convert WIM file into ISO.
• Lastly, create the Bootable USB with your customized image.

ghosting using norton 2003 ghost

Mustard Seed Ministries of east tx. We refurb donated pc and GIVE them to 5th graders. We've used Norton ghost 2003 with 98 xp and win 7. It does not work for win 10?? Why? Any suggestions . The Ghost will not boot
