Unable to Boot on Encrypted C: Drive

Hello,I recently attempted to dual boot Windows on my PC. Once I got the other version of Windows up and running, I encrypted my default Windows C: drive with BitLocker so it couldn't be accessed by other Windows. Problem is, the BitLocker status screen said "restart required" or similar right after I started the encryption, so I restarted the computer. It asked for the recovery key as the TPM was not accessible. I put the key in and get a BSOD, citing error "unmountable boot drive". After scouring the internet, I came across someone with a similar problem here: SuperUser: BitLocked Drive. Her

  2. Data Recovery in Bitlocker Encrypted Drive

Today my home laptop system asked for bit locker password after booting up (before login). Bit locker encryption was not enabled by me. However, to make the computer usable, C drive was formatted since there was no critical data in C Drive. However D Drive is still encrypted.

    Kindly confirm

    1. Can Bitlocker Encryption be enabled without intervention of the user?
    2. Where to find the bitlocker encryption key?
    3. How to recover the Data in Encrypted D Drive?

Unable to boot from C drive

I have no familiarity with that m'board, but just downloaded the manual: as you say, the boot priority selection is less than helpful, as this extract shows:

Unable to Boot on Encrypted C: Drive 338746d1624694425t-unable-boot-c-drive-bios-boot-order.png

(perhaps someone else will recognise this?). It rather suggests they had not heard of SSDs when they created that, but that is impossible if UEFI is shown. I would have thought you wanted to select UEFI - in any event, you really have to try setting each of the options first - surely one must work. Good luck, Martin.

NB The disc numbers do not matter, C: can be on any number.
    NBB: Could this be relevant:

Unable to Boot on Encrypted C: Drive 338747d1624694758t-unable-boot-c-drive-bios-boot-order2.png

Then I read some more, and found this:

Unable to Boot on Encrypted C: Drive 338748d1624695041t-unable-boot-c-drive-bios-boot-order4.png

So where is this boot menu - tucked away a few pages earlier - you could easily miss this:
