Windows 10: Unable to Boot, Safe Restore or Reset PC

Hi, I tried turning on my PC today and it initially loaded into the sign-in interface, but kept refreshing thus I could not type in my password. I decided to restart the pc, which then led to "Preparing Automatic Repair". 1 Automatic Repair Failed > restart or advanced option2 I tried to restart, and the same issue pops up3 Went into advanced option > troubleshoot > start-up repair fails4 advanced option > troubleshoot > system restore fails for all 3 versions5 advanced option > troubleshoot > uninstall last quality update still unable to boot- Disconnected al

Unable to boot the PC, stuck in recovery mode screen​

I understand that you are unable to boot the PC normally as it is stuck in recovery mode.

1. Were there any recent updates installed on the PC?
   
2. What is the exact make and model of the PC?
   

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Boot the PC into safe mode with networking and check if you are able to login. Refer the article to

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10, refer the section
From a black or blank screen.



Method 2:



Perform a system restore to revert the PC back to the state when everything was working fine. Refer the article

Recovery options in Windows 10, refer the section
Use installation media to restore or reset your PC.



Note:
Do not reset the PC; resetting the PC will remove all the data and installed programs from the PC.

Unable to reset PC

Hello,

If you are unable to reset your PC through Windows 10, you may use an installation media to restore your system or reset your PC. You may download an installation media and use it by following the steps below:

• On a working PC, go to the Microsoft software download website.
• Download the media creation tool and then run it.
• Select Create installation media for another PC.
• Choose a language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit).
• Follow the steps to create installation media, and then select Finish.
• Connect the installation media you created to your PC, then turn it on.
• On the initial setup screen, enter your language and other preferences, and then select
  Next.
  • Note: If you're not seeing the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again.
• Select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you may:
  • Restore from a system restore point by selecting Advanced options
    > System Restore. This will remove recently installed apps, drivers, and updates that might be causing your PC problems. Restoring from a restore point won't affect your personal files.
  • Select Reset this PC to reinstall Windows 10. This will remove apps and drivers you installed and changes you made to settings, but lets you choose to keep or remove your personal files.

Unable to restore or resize windows now

Suggest you to boot the PC in a clean boot state to check if that helps. A clean boot step will help us determine if any 3rd party service or application is causing this issue.
