    Unable to boot windows, due to bitlocker


    i have changed my hard disk to secondary laptop, unable to boot due to bitlocker and unable to access my bitlocker key and pin as its showing error - TraceID: 5+SzpWSCo0aaaQ1V.6.70 Something happened. Wait a bit, then try again. If this issue persists, contact us. , kindly help i need my data back

    Windows 8.1 PRO unable to unlock Bitlocked drive

    Can you take a screen shot of the bitlocker window?

    Also, what happens when you highlight the drive in This PC and go to the Manage tab? There should be some bitlocker options there.

    Windows 8.1 PRO unable to unlock Bitlocked drive

    Here is the screenshot

    As you can see Drive D is no longer present in BitLocker Drive Encryption.

    When I click on this Drive under Explorer I got the option to FORMAT this Drive and when I click cancel I get the following.

    When I do Right Click on this Drive, I no longer see BitLocker option like I used to.

    Windows 8.1 PRO unable to unlock Bitlocked drive

    As you can see BitLocker Option is not highlighted for selection. It's like Windows does not even recognize this drive as a locked drive. And this drive does contain lot of Data.
