Windows 10: Unable to buy ms store apps using a gift card

Why can't I buy items in the Microsoft store using a Microsoft gift card, the balance has been entered into my ms account but every time I buy there is no payment via Microsoft gift card, only shows card method.Recently i redeemed an xbox giftcard to my ms account.I want to buy swordsoft mousetrack software from ms store but when i click on buy button it only shows the card payment method where i already have a giftcard & it should show there. But it doesn’t appear there. I just need the paid software from ms store.Note: i am from Bangladesh. So i tried changing the region in both ms accou

Buying Windows 10 from Microsoft Store with gift cards.

Hi.

I was wondering that is this possible for me that I buy Windows 10 from store just like the way I buy app from Windows App Store, I mean with a gift card. I live in a country which there's no any credit cards because of sanctions, so the only way remains
is gift cards, I wanted to buy them and charge my account for it, but thought that let's ask first to see if it's possible or I really need a credit card?
