Windows 10: Unable to change lock screen picture in windows 10

Hello there, greetings.I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with a problem I'm facing.I am unable to change my lock screen wallpaper.Whenever i open up the lock screen settings, this is what i seeWhen i try to select a picture from 'Browse' > 'Choose Picture', i see this loading thing and it keeps on loadingPresently on the Lock screen i am seeing a solid color my theme color i.e. Iris SpringI want to put a custom image and I don't want a solid color.Also, if I select windows spotlight, it works alright. Thank you.

Windows 10 - Unable to change account picture and lock screen

Hi, I just realized after recent major update on windows 10 I'm facing some issues.
1. Unable to change account picture



2. Stuck on changing lock screen




I already do some troubleshooting:
1. sfc /scannow
2. DISM
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
3. manually change the source of image in
- C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
- C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData
but, none of them is working..

Please help me to find a solution instead of re-install the whole windows (which is exhausting). Thank you.

 

Help! Can't change Lock Screen picture!

Hi,
For some reason, since upgrading to Win 10 Pro 20H2, I am unable to set a custom lock screen picture. I can go to Settings\Personalization\Lock Screen and make my desired selection, but the system never honors that selection.

I've even tried briefly changing my user permissions to Administrator...but still, no luck.

(NOTE: I have no problem setting a desired custom desktop background picture....I just can't change the Lock Screen picture.)

Lock Screen keeps changing

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.
