Windows 10: Unable to change my documents folder from C:\Users\ade_b\OneDrive to D:\documents

I'm trying to change my documents folder from C:\Users\ade_b\OneDrive to D:\documents just get me an error message. The message says "can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be relocated. Access denied".

The trouble is I can seen no folder and I get the error message whether I try to move files or not. I have the same problem with the pictures folder which is also empty. I would also like to get rid of any access to the OneDrive. This is a new pc

retargeting Document folder under This PC to C:\User\Julie\Documents from C:\User\Julie\Onedrive\Documents

I have a new PC. It has been set up with OneDrive. I don't want it. I uninstalled it but the documents folder under This PC is still OneDrive\documents. I can not point it to a new location. I want the document folder to be C:\User\Julie\Documents NOT
C:\User\Julie\Onedrive\Documents

 

Missing C:\users\Documents folder

For some time now I have been unable to see the Windows "Documents" folder on C:\users. All I see is the C:\users\OneDrive\Documents folder.

Does OneDirve somehow interact with the Windows Documents folder and somehow combine them? I can't imagine that to be the case since Memory on OneDrive is proprietary, available for a fee, which is why I tend to avoid putting everything on OneDrive, even
though I have more than enough memory on my OneDrive account.

Can the Windows Documents folder get hidden somehow, or even erased?

Document Library hijacked by OneDrive after update

This issue may be due to an incorrect location target. To correct this, kindly follow these steps:

• Right click the Documents folder where OneDrive files are showing.
• Select Properties, and then Location. Yours might look like this:
  C:\Users\Your username\OneDrive\Documents.
• If this is the case, you will need to create a new folder, select all the OneDrive files in the
  Documents folder, and then change its location to transfer it to the created folder.
• After emptying the Documents folder, right click it and change the location to:
  C:\Users\Your username\Documents.
