Windows 10: Unable to Clear "Server has reboots pending and needs to be restarted" message

Hello,I am trying to add a 2016 Standard Server to my RD Session Hosts via Server Manager. I can select the server from the Server Pool and add it to the Selected Computers but when I click on Next I get the “Checking Compatibility” message and the Compatibility check that failed is “The server has reboots pending and needs to be restarted”. If I highlight the server then click on “Exclude” it just brings me back to the RD Session Host Servers screen where it prompts me to add it again.The server has been restarted multiple times, it is current with the latest Windows Updates and I

Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:

1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
3. Restart Windows.

I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?

 

There is a reboot pending for this product

I have an ASUS T100TA notebook running Win 10 Home FCU 32-bit. I am trying to reinstall the chipset drivers with the Intel_SOC_Driver_Package2_VER10E.

I extract all the files from the zip and run install.exe. But I get the message, "there is a pending reboot for this product".

I have rebooted many times but it doesn't help. I have searched the registry for any pending of reboot key values. And I have spent hours online searching for a solution. It does not seem similar to the Rapid Storage system topics.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

There is a Pending Reboot for This Product

Trying to install a driver update for Intel Rapid Storage Technology so it will work with Windows 10 but I continue to get the "There is a Pending Reboot for this Product" message. After many reboots, still getting the message.

How do I get this cleared out so I can do the install?
