An error displayed as “Bad image” just recently started to occur on my computer which led me to attempting to fix this. And as I was trying to fix this i have found more and more issues surrounding my computer, the main of which is that my computer has begun being unable to download updates, with errors popping up. I have followed the advice online through file checking, SFC scans which apparently are unavailable, safe starts, update uninstalls, re downloading windows 10, factory resets and more. Each of these have ended up failing and the screen displays “undoing changes” and reverts back to

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Unable to complete anything entirely :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
