Windows 10: Unable to complete Windows 11 update on Surface Pro 6

Here is the issue. My Surface Pro 6 will not complete and install the following update and the error message is listed below.2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5044380Install error - 0x80070002I have been on the phone with Microsoft reps for over 12 hours and still have not had success. I'm about to see if I need to take it to Geek Squad or the like. 2 different Microsoft reps wanted to execute 2 different actions. First, a rep wanted to "image' my system or something and do a "factory reset". Secondly, a rep wanted to "erase" the system.T

After install the KB5039212 Windows 11 update problems with my surface pro 6

Hi,

Installing the KB5039212 Windows 11 update on my Surface Pro 6 and Surface Studio Laptop result in the following problems:

Surface Pro 6 & Surface Studio Laptop

• when both devices are connected with my Surface Dock 2 the didn't charge any more. Devices connected to the Surface Doch 2 USB ports will charge normally.
  

Surface Pro 6 only

• the toch screen doesn't work anymore.
  

Both devices will charge normally with the Microsoft Surface 127W Power Supply.

How can I fix this problem?
