Windows 10: Unable to connect Bluetooth Keyboard

I have been using a bluetooth keyboard and today, I had to change the batteries. When I tried to reconnect, the OS asked me to enter the pin number. However, it did not generate a pin for me to enter. I repeatedly tried to reconnect my keyboard, but without a pin, I am stuck.


So, while I should be working, I am posting this question instead. Does anyone know how to force Windows 10 to generate a pin so I can connect a keyboard? I have tried 0000 and 1111, but that did not work. Any idea would be appreciated.


In the interim, I will add the inability to connect a bluetooth device to my ever growing list of reasons I HATE Windows 10 . Why MS felt compelled to removed a functional OS Win 7 and force its customers to use Windows 10 is obvious - they optimized the data collection processes of Windows 10. I just wish they would have spent a little more time on optimizing the OS and less time figuring out ways to invade its user's privacy.

E63 will find my bluetooth keyboard but error "unable to connect to keyboard!"

I have a generic bluetooth "smart keyboard" which I use with no problems with my Palm Tungsten E2 so it's HID compatible.



I can find and pair the keyboard in "connectivity". However when I try to connect using "wireless keyboard" I get "unable to connect to keyboard!" error.



I downloaded the sis file from nokia europe but it doesn't list the E63 in the E series although listing among others the E61 and E71.



I tried to transfer this file with PC suite and got an error.



Are there any driver files around to enable me to connect my e63 and keyboard or am I doing something wrong.



Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

 

808 / Logitech K810 bluetooth keyboard

My 808 recognizes the Logitech K810 as a bluetooth keyboard, I can pair using the 808 generated passcode, but then I get "Unable to create Bluetooth connection". The K810 remains listed as a keyboard paired device. Same results with a FP1 701.



Suggestions? Has anyone successfully used the K810 with a Belle device?



I've paired and used the same keyboard with my PC and a Moto G.

how do I connect my remote keyboard with bluetooth? I have tried with the following steps but it still will not connect

1. Select the Start button, then select Settings >
   Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.

1. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, then select Add Bluetooth or other device >
   Bluetooth.
