Windows 10: Unable to connect my printer's WIFI and my house WIFI.

I have recently had the internet (that was original in my son's name) switched over to his new home. So...I got 2 brand new boxes, one is the router and the other is the modem. They said that was so the signal would be stronger.


My problem is that my printer, a Kodak Verite 55 W Eco, was working fine 3 days before they came in and changed everything over. I'm guessing that's the cause of this ooops because now my printer isn't working nor does it seem to be hooking itself up to the internet/network, whatever it is. My provider is Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable).


If anyone has any thoughts, ideas, suggestions on how to get my printer back online, please let me know.

Canon printer wifi trouble

Hey,

I installed my canon pixma mg3210 with the newest driver and I choose wifi connection.

Eveyrthing works fine until I turn off the printer then my laptop doesn't detect the printer anymore.
Basically, the printer is offline.

For some reason, the printer lasted less than 24 hours printing correctly, and now I again can't fix it, even by doing what "worked" before (Comment #6 upthread).

Regarding the static IP suggestion:

1. The printer is connected via USB to a Windows 7 computer on the home network. It's not on the network by IP address. Here is a screenshot of the printer port properties.
   
   
2. Although there ARE "headaches" as is said above, the vast majority of the other computers on the home wifi network, NEVER have had a problem printing to it. And this applies to computers that have run XP, Win7, Win10, and MacOS. For the most part until now, it's included the particular Win10 computer in question.
3. If I still might be able to give it a static IP address, will this affect the other computers that have been able to print to it fine using printer name?

 

sharing a printer through wifi connection

I'm trying to share a printer (canon mp730) through a wifi network. My computer (windows vista) is connected to the printer directly. The other computer is windows xp.

When I'm working on the xp machine and press "print", it opens a dialog box and form there I select "find printer". When I click on that, it shows me the printer connected to the Vista machine select print, I get a warning message saying "you are about to install a printer driver on your machine...blah blah". I click "yes" on that and then get a message saying that the server for the printer does not have the correct printer driver installed. What to do? It seems like I've got the latest driver for the mp730 installed on both machines.
