Windows 10: Unable to connect my Samsung S22 + Android Phone as well as my iPhone to my Windows 11 PC...

Hello EveryOne and Thanks in advance for any help.I have a Samsung S22 + Phone running on Android 13 and an iPhone 13 with iOS 17 . Link to Windows are installed on both devices and connected to the same Microsoft Account as my Windows 11 PC. I have been trying to link both the phones to the PC through Phone Link. I used the QR Code for linking. In case of both the phones the process of Account Linking Gets Successfully Completed but then it gets stuck at the permissions stage. I have attached a Screen Shot of this stage.I shared this problem with Microsoft Support Team . They asked me to Repa

Those are essentially the same steps I showed in Post #11 for my Samsung phone. It is important after the phone is connected to the PC with a USB cable to swipe from the top of the phone screen to show the notifications. If you can't connect the phone to your PC with a USB cable then the easiest way to get the screenshots from your phone to your PC is to email them to yourself. I just opened my Gmail account on my phone, created a new email, attached the screenshots to it, and emailed them. When I opened the email on my PC I selected to to download the attachment. Note the attachment was a single zip file with the screenshots inside.

 

Unable to connect android phone to windows 11 Computer

Before upgrading to Windows 11, connecting android phones my Windows laptop will be detected. Based on the options I choose on the phone (file transfer, PTP, charge only), I can get the utility needed.

Now, the android device is not detected on my phone. Using Google's ADB CLI, I was unable to list my phone.

• The phones does not allow USB tethering (the option was disabled).
  
• The connection charges (I tried with both USB C to USB C and USB A to USB C to connect the phones.
  
• Doesn't show up on edge://inspect
  
• Using developer mode on Android, with USB debugging turned on does not change anything
  
• There is no sound on my laptop when i connect the device
  
• The device (android) is still charged by the computer
  

I have updated all the USB drivers, installed wpdmtp.inf, updated to the latest Windows 11 OS.

Laptop: Lenovo Carbon x2 Extreme

Windows Build:





Android devices:

• OnePlus 7Pro
  
• Samsung A32
  

Tested:

• USB C to USB C
  
• USB C to USB A
  
• Different all different ports
  

Result:

• Not detected on device manager, my computer, ADB CLI, edge://inspect
  
• USB options do not appear for android (treating it as just a charger)
