Windows 10: Unable to connect networked printers after Windows 11 Home update

I am unable to connect my networked printers after Windows 10 Home forced an update to Windows 11 Home. I open files, go to network, click the computer that has the printers, locate the printers, click them. Gives the message "Operation could not be completed error 0x00000bc4. No printers were found." I did a Google search and found a few suggestions, but they did not work for me. This included changing registry keys. Any suggestions?

Unable to print to a network printer when connected to both wireless and wired networks

Hi Eileen,

• As far as i'm aware nothing has changed
• i have only tried to send test pages to the network printer so im assuming so yes
• wireless printer works fine when connected to both networks. However the wifi doesn't connect auto when an Ethernet connection is established this has to be manually connected.

I have tried the following:

• updated the print driver
• changed the network port it was plugged into
• ran windows updates
• configured with a static
• changed the wifi and Ethernet priority

I will run through the trouble shoot steps as suggest and come back to you.

FYI - he has a number of extenders dotted around, a collegue mentioned it could be a subnet issue?

Unable to add/connect to network printer

I am unable to add a network printer to windows 11. It doesn't automatically recognize. When I select through the network, it shows it unable to connect. The printer is connecting to all other PCs in organization running windows 10 and older. This is specific to windows 11 only. MY IT administrator is also unable to solve this problem. Please guide what changes are required?

Shared printer shows on network but will not connect - Windows 11

My Win 11 machine was connecting OK to a printer on another machine on the network. After update KB5020622 (22H) the printer no longer shows on the list of printers and will not reinstall.

This is what I've done...

• Added the latest Win11 driver from the manufacturer's site
  
• Gone to Devices
  
• "Add Manually"
  
• "Browse"
  
• The host PC was shown and clicking on the icon showed the printer
  
• Selected the printer
  
• Saw a green bar and an alert saying "Windows cannot connect to printer. No printer found"
  

At the same time I connected to the printer using another machine on the network, so the problem must lie with the Win11 machine.
