Windows 10: Unable to connect to hidden wifi when restarting

hi i am connected to my home wifi and it is hidden and sometimes when i restart the computer or just open the computer it doesnt connect to the wifi unless i disable the network and enable it again and it is really annoying to do it so often is there any way to get rid of this problem? have a nice day

Wifi adapter disappears - goes 'hidden'


Running Windows 10 on an Acer laptop. Over the past month, the wifi connection dropped without explanation/warning.

First time, the adapter was visible in Device Manager (with a yellow triangle next to it). An interent search found the suggestion to uninstall it and restart. That worked.

Today, the connection dropped again. In Device Manager at first I could not see the wifi adapter listed. I clicked to see hidden devices and found the adapter and the Bluetooth (which I had not noticed was missing).

I again uninstalled, restarted, and both the wifi and bluetooth have returned.

Anyone any ideas as to what is happening, why it's happening, and what I need to do, please?

I have attached a screenshot of the DM windows as it is now, showing the wifi adapter name, etc.

Unable to connect to hidden WiFi point

Hello

So I am trying to connect to a hidden WiFi network and I am going through the usual process of going into Control Pannel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre > Set up a new connection or network > Manually connect to a wireless network.

I enter the SSID of the hidden network, the WPA2-personal security setting and enter the appropriate passcode. Make sure I click to connect even if the network is not broadcasting, the computer tells me that the connection was a success, however this is
where my problem starts because the WiFi network doesnt connect and doesnt appear in my list of available WiFi connections.

I am currently on Windows 10, I had this WiFi network setup and working fine on Windows 8.1 and I also currently have my iPhone connected and working fine on this network. The issue with it not working only seems to have appeared since upgrading to Windows
10. As it worked on Windows 8.1 I was thinking of rolling the laptop back to try and get it to work again. I have also checked in device manager that the driver for my wireless card is up to date and functioning correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to point me in the right direction?

Window is unable to reconnect the hidden wifi automatically

Step 1: Add the wifi hidden network by following the below steps

Go to search box next to windows icon and type Change wi-fi settings then click to open it.

Step 2:

Under Wi-Fi click on Manage Known Networks

Step 3:

Click on Add a new network

Step 4:

Under Network name type the SSID

Step 5:

Under Security type click on drop down to select

Step 6:

Check the box for option Connect Automatically

Step 7:

Check the box for Option Connect even if this network not broadcasting

Step 8:

Click on Save

Step 9:

Restart PC and verify

Let me know the status after performing the above.
