Windows 10: Unable to connect to internet after using windows via bootcamp on a mac.

Sorry for formatting in advance, as I have to write this on my phone. I installed win10 on my mac via bootcamp. During the installation, it asked me to connect to a wifi network, but nothing showed up, just a blank blue screen under the text, so I just clicked on set up without internet (limited or something), thinking later I would be able to connect, after setting up windows. This is not the case. Here are screencaps I took with my phone. I don’t really know what to do, any help is appreciated

Kick or Ban who is connected with my internet ?

You would have to do that on your Router's setup webpage. 1st step is to turn on WiFi encryption and password. 2nd step, if you feel you need to, is set up an access list of the physical MAC addresses for the network adapters of the computers you want to allow to connect. Any other network adapter not on that MAC filter list won't be able to connect. (but MAC addresses can be easily spoofed, if the third person knows which MAC addresses are allowed).

 

Bootcamp Internet Connection using windows

I have a mac book pro and use bootcamp to run a couple of window programs. Possible you will not be to concerned about this issue, but....

Up until recently all was good, but now when using WIFI on "some" services, the connection is very slow. When using Xfinity, while traveling this past week, the internet speed was fast, BUT when accessing the internet pages - very slow. I have researched
via microsoft, apple and other internet sites and the best cause I believe is that due to a Microsoft update, the network drivers are not acting correctly when bootcamp is being used. I have found many others experiencing this same issue - but with no clear
answers.

Is there any body out there...that knows a solution.

I'll respond to my own thread. I tried various options as found on the internet, such as ensuring that the Volume Shadow Copy service was running, all to no avail. Then I came across the Ed Andersen blog, Windows 10 on Mac Bootcamp fixes (Updated) - Ed Andersen. I downloaded AutoRuns as described, turned off the AppleHFS service, rebooted and reattempted the backup. Success. SO thank you Ed!
