    Unable to connect to shared printer in workgroup environment


    Dear team, I am trying to connect to the printer from windows 11 which is shared from windows 10 machine. During which i am frequently encountering "windows couldn't connect to the printer check the printer name and try again " i tried each and every step present over internet but nothing helped me please help me to get rid of this problem...Thanks and Regards

    Unable to connect network shared printer to my PC

    I'm using windows 10 pro, trying to connect a shared printer to my PC from my workgroup. Another user can attach the printer via printer sharing resources in the workgroup. But I can't, Enable to browse shared printer PC name from my system. Kindly suggest.

    Thanks for you reply.

    Moving forward i don't receive any error code or error message, while sharing the printer and i didn't make any
    software changes. I'm using local account as user profile. What i'm suspecting is the homegroup and workgroup issues. As per your suggestion i'm planning to convert it to Workgroup and check if you
    can share the printer with Linux.

    It would be better and easier if you can provide some steps in order to convert windows 10 to workgroup environment.
