Windows 10: Unable to connect to wifi all of the sudden

I was using my laptop for a few minutes before my wifi connection got disconnected and the icon disappeared. I tried going to the settings to get help but it says that Ethernet cable isn't plugged in. I have never used an ethernet cable before. I have tried to restart the adaptor and the laptop but none of that is working

Wifi unable to connect

I have all of a sudden had issues with the wifi being unable to connect on any network on my Surface Pro 3 running WIndows 10.

I have tried resetting the router, reinstalling the drivers, and most recently a full factory reset of the laptop - still no wifi.

It says 'unable to connect to this network', and when I run diagnostics it says the issue is no preferred networks.

I don't know what's going on with it. I can connect via Ethernet but that's not enough of a fix.

 

Unable to see a specific WiFi Network in list

I have Windows 8.1. I can see the WiFi networks of everyone in the vicinity. However, am unable to see the WiFi network installed in my home.

The WiFi Network that am unable to see is a new connection. This new connection is seen by all devices (Mobiles etc) but it is.not getting displayed in my Windows 8.1 list.

I have seen other threads on the issue which recommend checking WLAN Autoconfig etc. And have tried those steps too. But there is no change in the outcome.

Can anyone please suggest any solution that migjt work. I am not willing to format my Laptop.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Sudden loss in wifi connection on laptop

Hi! I have a problem with wifi on my home laptop, unfortunately it happened again. Everything is fine the wifi works perfectly fine and all of the sudden it disconnects and isn’t shown on list but all of my neighbour’s wifi are. It once happened before and I couldn’t connect my laptop to home wifi for about 2 months. When I was about to go to IT tech it suddenly appeared as if nothing have happened. I was so happy however it happened once again and I don’t know why it’s still happening. Do you have any tips that may help or maybe you’ve had the same problem and you know how to fix this?
