Unable to connect to WiFi or Bluetooth

This is the second time I am facing this issue. I started my laptop in the morning like any other day and the options for both WiFi and bluetooth were completely missing. I had faced the same issue a few months ago and have tried all the solutions that I could attempt on my own. What saved me then was a system restore but this time I do not have a point saved and hence can't go back. The adapter itself seems to be missing. Tried installing the driver and all related solutions. No luck.Hoping for some help here. Since I am not so well versed in the technical know-how, I can only offer so much i

  2. unable to connect wifi and bluetooth with windows 10

    Hello,

If your computer is unable to connect to WiFi and bluetooth with Windows 10, here are some things to try:

    • Make sure your Windows device supports Bluetooth and that it's turned on. You'll see a Bluetooth button in action center.
    • If you don’t see the Bluetooth button, try updating your device's driver. Here's how: Go to
      Start,enter
Device Manager, select it from the list of results. In
Device Manager, locate your device, right-click (or press and hold) it, select
      Update Driver Software,select
Search automatically for updated driver software, and then follow the rest of the steps.
    • If Bluetooth is turned on and the driver is up to date, but your device still doesn’t work, try removing the device and re-pairing it. Here's how: Go to
      Start,enter
      Devices,select
      Bluetooth,select the device, select
Remove device, and then try pairing again.
    • Make sure that the Bluetooth-enabled audio device is on and discoverable. How you do this varies with devices, so check the info that came with your device or go to the manufacturer’s website.
I would also suggest you to check this

  3. Wifi limited/disconnected when Bluetooth is enabled on Win10

My Bluetooth connection seems to be interfering with my Wifi connection. The interference persists even if no Bluetooth devices are connected to my system. I'm working on Win10, updated from Win7 a few days ago. I did not have this issue before the update.

    Scenario:

    • Both Bluetooth and Wifi are off
    • Switch on Wifi
    • Connected to Wifi with full Internet connectivity
    • Switch on Bluetooth
    • Wifi connection changes to limited connectivity (no Internet) or disconnects
    • Disable and re-enable Wifi adapter; alternatively, restart system.
    • Connected to Wifi with full Internet connectivity immediately after reconnect
    • Wifi connection changes to limited connectivity (no Internet) or disconnects, after a short while (<1m)
    • Disable Bluetooth
    • Disable and enable Wifi adapter; alternatively, restart system
    • Connected to Wifi with full Internet connectivity (same as step 3)
Is anyone else facing the same issue. If yes, is there anything I could do to fix it? My drivers are all up-to-date and I'm working with an Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 2230 adapter on Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

Update: As suggested by Bendito999 here,
changing the advanced power settings of my Wireless adapter to "Maximum Performance" seems to circumvent the issue. This is however not a hard solution and only serves to work around the problem.
