    Since 2 days ago i can not connect to the internet via ethernet. It worked fine before it crashed and it suddenly stopped. After the crash in the loading screen it repaired disc C idk if this is relevant or not and now intried everything. I cleared the cache on the dns. Released ipconfig renewed ipconfig reset the network thing and it still wont connect to the internet. When i troubleshoot it says smth like can not find ip configuration and when i try to renew the ipconfig in the command prompt it says “an error occurred while renewing ethernet interface: unable to contact your DCHP server”

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update and response.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    1. Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.

    2. Expand ‘Network Adapters’.

    3. Right-click on the network Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

    4. Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.

    5. Restart the computer after its updated and verify.

    If the issue persist then I suggest you to reinstall the network drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    new contacts not useable

    Good Morning Ken & Helmut,
    Ken, the "Mail" contacts list works for all current contacts - but not for newly inserted contacts, even after a reset of the laptop.

    Helmut, Thanks for your suggestions, I will try them as soon as I get a chance.

    One of two Windows 7 computers see a different network

    Hi,

    I have two Windows 7 computers. One does not see the same network that shows on the other computer. ip 10.0.0.6 255.255.255.0, DCHP Server 10.0.0.1. It only sees one network name, which is not shown in the other PC's list of networks. It does connect to
    the internet.

    The other computer works fine. ip 10.0.0.9, DCHP Server 10.0.0.1. Sees correct network name plus others.

    Please help me.
