Windows 10: Unable to convert free space into unnallocated space.

I cant convert free space into unallocated space, i want to make a new partition so i can have a seperate installation of windows on the same laptop. is there any way you could help me fix this problem?

Unable to Use Unallocated Space to Extend Partition

Okay...thanks. Will look at it tomorrow. FYI, I figured out how to get that unformatted G partition back into D.

In Disk Management, I right clicked G and selected "Delete Volume." That rendered the partition as unallocated. I was then able to extend D with that space.

Setup was unable to use the existing partition … not enough space

Yes, the steps I have taken are exactly like the guide.

I break down at Step 15 – How to Select Drive to Install Windows 10 with UEFI.

I get the message "Setup was unable to use the existing partition because the system volume does not contain the required space." next to a small yellow exclamation mark.
