Windows 10: unable to copy and paste file onn my local Storage from an external drive Flash drive or HDD

Hello, sorry to bother you, i'm experiencing an issue with my brand new PC. I can't copy and paste files from external flash disks and drive to my local storage. i was able to do it few minutes ago but then onedrive started uploading files automatically and i stopped the synchronization. since then, i can't copy and paste file from external drive to my local Drive. could you help me please ?

It would be grateful if you can reply to this question in order to assist you further:

• Is the issue with particular Flash drive?
• Are you able to copy and past with in Windows?
• What is the format of the Flash drive?

To isolate the issue I suggest you check using the flash drive in different port and check. If the issue persists, I suggest you to check with different flash drive and check if you are facing the same issue.

EXTERNAL AND FLASH DRIVE WONT SHOW DRIVE NAMES ON WINDOWS 10

By default, Windows will recognize an external hard drive or a flash drive as “Local Disk” if the storage device was not configured and has no label on it. To resolve your concern, we recommend that you may put a label on your storage devices using
the Disk Management Tool in Computer Management. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Start button and select Computer
  Management.
• Under Storage, select Disk Management.
• Physical drive letters are shown including the partition, right-click on each drive and select
  Properties.
• Name your storage device or put a label on it.
• Click Apply.
• Use File Explorer to view your external devices or flash drive with a label on it.

Copying movie to Flash Drive

One way on how to save and move files to a flash drive is by using the File Explorer in Windows 10. To assist you with your concern, to save your movie file to a flash drive, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your USB flash drive to your PC.
• Navigate to the folder or location where you save your movie files.
• Right-click on the movie file and select
  Copy.
• Right-click on the Start menu, and select
  File Explorer.
• On the left-pane, double-click on This PC.
• Double-click on the drive letter that correspond to your USB flash drive.
• Right-click and select Paste.
• Wait for the process to complete the transfer.
• Once you’re done, you can safely remove your USB flash drive.
