Windows 10: Unable to copy and paste parts of a document with text and photos to Word 2010

About a week ago I noticed I could not get the photos on a page to copy and paste to Word 2010. That always worked before without issue. It will work in Linux with Libre. I tried 3 different browsers and copy and paste did not paste the photos. What changed and where can I look for issues? This happens in Windows 10 and 11 with Word 2010.

Does anyone know if it is possible to copy text from a word document on your laptop, and then paste it into a word mobile document on your iphone? I know that you can browse out to the internet on the iphone and copy any text from a website into word mobile,
but i tried to save a document as an html, but it did not work out. I have several documents on my laptop that i modify to fit the need at the time, and would like to then copy the text, not the file to my phone.

When you insert a scanned photos or images on Word and you save it, it automatically becomes part of the

document. May we ask for the version of your Word (e.g. 2010, 2013, 2016, etc.)?
