    Unable to Create New Microsoft Office File Within File Explorer


    Hello, for some reason, I can no longer create Microsoft Office files within my File Explorer, only Google files. Open "File Explorer" > "+ New". This was a convenient feature, and I am still determining why the option has disappeared and been replaced with only Google apps. Your help is much appreciated!- Lauren

    Unable to open office 2007 files in office 365

    Had Office 2007 which I have now uninstalled and installed Microsoft 365. I now am unable to open Word and Excel files created with Office 2007 in Microsoft 365. I have saved the files again to .docx and .xlsx but still will not open in 365.

    Why can't I create new files in Windows 10 File Explorer?

    As the title says, I am unable to create new files in File Explorer. I can create folders, shortcuts, bitmap images, and zipped folders, however.

    Here's what I've tried already:

    • Rebooting my PC.
    • The answer to this question; I used Restore_ALL_default_New_context_menu_items.reg.
    But my problem persists. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    PS: If I need to use the Registry Editor or Command Prompt, I am familiar with those.

    I need to convert Quattro pro files to windows Office 2007

    The link says for Office 2000 and 2003. Will this work for 2007?
