Windows 10: Unable to Delete Search History

Today, I searched for a file in File Explorer and noticed that every time I try typing something in the search field, that old file name keeps appearing in a drop down menu.

I tried highlighting the history item and pressing the "Delete" key, but this doesn't remove the file from the Search list.

I also tried the suggestions on this HowToGeek article, but I've noticed that the images shown in the article don't resemble my version of File Explorer. For example, the images show the following tabs: "File, Home, Share, View, and Search", while on my computer, I don't have "Search" as one of the tabs.

I've also tried going into Folder Options and clicking "Clear" and this didn't work either.

In regedit, I checked out Word Wheel Query and I see the following items: "(Default), 0, and MRUListEX". I don't know if any of the three correspond with my search history, so I haven't deleted anything yet.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?

It would probably be there in the history, so please check the history.

If you do not find it that means it has been deleted due to something happened at that point.

Unable to delete the web address browser history in WP7

Still no succes.

I can delete the search history, bug not the bing history. And even clearing the iE history and search history it's url suggestions are not deleted.

It should remove url-suggestions by removing browsing-history.
