Windows 10: Unable to detect my TV as a wireless monitor

I used my TV as a wireless monitor for a while. Recently, it failed to connect to my TV. Today I found my PC even cannot detect my TV as a wireless monitor. I did not make any change on my PC or TV. I can detect other TVs of my neighbors. I can also screen mirror to my TV from my phone.I tried to update the Windows system but it still did not work. I wonder what I should do.Thanks,Charlie

Smart Tv not being detected as wireless display after Win10 update,

Hi,

My Samsung 6300 smart tv used to be able to wirelessly extend my laptop, all until 2 months ago after most recent win 10 update. My computer now only detects it as other devices, and will not detect my tv as an extra screen to mirror or extend the laptop
wirelessly.

I am only getting my neighbours TV as i'm living in an apartment building, if i try can search for a wireless display connection.

Please help, it should not be a driver problem, it was working fine previously.

It should not be a TV problem as i can see it listed as other devices, basically its being found, visible, but unable to be script as a tv/wireless display.

it could be a miracast update thing, which now completely renders all earlier smart tvs useless for this job.

 

Unable to connect win 10 laptop to a smart TV

Thanks. I followed steps and my PC do support wireless capability however am unable to fix it yet. I did follow steps. In fact, clicking "Detect" doesn't do anything.

Btw, I am trying to connect laptop to TV wirelessly.

 

Problem with connecting dual monitor to the TV

I cannot connect my dual monitor with wireless display adaptor to the TV. I can see on
TV screen display "Ready for Connection" but the adapter and TV are listed as Unconnected in My Devices. The Action Center doesn’t see these devices
