Windows 10: Unable to determine the cause of BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Hi everyone,For the past few weeks I have been getting the BSOD below intermittently, mostly when idle/ low workload. BSOD Caused by DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Hi There,

Recently I'm been running into BSOD caused by DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I tried updating drivers but issue still remains.

Appreciate if someone can help take a look at it. Below are the minidumps and system info link.

I have been getting a BSoD at random and unable to detect the cause.

"DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE"

I have reset windows 10 to default settings (keeping files) with no luck.

I am working off a desktop.

Unable to update, BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Hi,

To fix the issue with BSOD error on your computer
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE is caused by some drivers.




Method 1: I would first suggest you to remove all external devices connected to the computer except essential devices like keyboard and mouse and then boot the computer. Now, try to install and check.

Method 2: I would suggest you to update the drivers for the display card from the manufacturers website.

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

Method 3: If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to boot the computer in a clean boot state and then try to install and check. Booting the computer in a clean boot state can reduce software
conflicts and help identify the root cause of the issue. You can refer to this article for more information:
