Windows 10: Unable to diagnose PC crash

Hello, I've recently been experiencing crashes.Despite having the system set to create dump files, it is not creating any. The errors that I am getting are inconsistent. I initially thought that I had a virus, so I reset windows, wiping all of my files and then ran both a windows defender and a Kaspersky scan. Both of them came back clean. Still crashed after that, so I reset again to be safe.I have tried both updating and rolling back my graphics driver. I have updated Bios. Both chkdsk and the memory diagnostic tool say that everything is fine.Most of the BSoDs have simply said "CRITICAL_PRO

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Diagnosing PC Crash

Hi,

I did a hard reset of my laptop after it began to crash when I tried to log in. It didn’t help the issue but everything seemed to be working smoothly after I went into Safe Mode. I then proceeded to go through the non-Windows apps in the msconfig command
prompt and it looked like unchecking some of those programs made my laptop function normally in its regular mode. When I went to re-download Google Chrome in regular mode, my laptop froze again and I woukd get a black screen when I restarted it. I did the
steps to turn it off then on (then off and on, etc.) to get to the Advanced Options screen but now its been stuck on “Diagnosing your PC” for quite a while. I’ve gone through this process several times and I’ve been able to find a way around this before but
I can’t seem to find a fix this time because I get a black screen with a loading cursor when I try to start it normally. Is there any way to resolve this problem? Thanks.

 

Windows Updates crashing and unable to login to PC

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

As per the manufacturer’s website, your PC is compatible
only with Windows 7 & 8. This could be the cause for the system crash.

If you wish to pause the updates for a while, you may check with the steps listed below in the article -

• Schedule a restart or pause updates in Windows 10
  
  
• Defer feature updates in Windows 10
  
  

However, I would also suggest you to get in touch with the PC manufacturer to know if there are any latest drivers available, that is compatible to run Windows 10 on your machine.
