Windows 10: Unable to Disable bitlocker

I have purchased a new Samsung galaxy book pro 2 Brand new no previous owners. When plugging in external drive it prompts me to enter a 48 digit pin. Now i have access to the pin, the issue is that i cant disable bit locker i have tried through the cmd prompt and through PowerShell and entered commands listed in windows articles and documentation. The bit locker manager does not seem to be present anywhere on the laptop and when going to settings and clicking on the bit locker link inside of the security tab it just takes me to the store prompting me to purchase windows 11 pro i have also been

How to disable Bitlocker?

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + X and click on
Control Panel.

2. Change View by from Category
to Large Icons/Small Icons.

3. Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
Turn BitLocker Off.

4. Follow on screen instructions. Click on
Decrypt the Drive when the message appears.

Change in folder size after enabling Bitlocker

We understand you concern related to the size of the folder displayed. Try these steps to narrow down the issue:

1. Disable bitlocker
   and then check the folder size.
2. We would also suggest you to open the folder and select all files and see the size of the contents.

Let us know if the size of the contents matches the folder size. If you see a difference, then the folder might be showing incorrect size.
