Windows 10: Unable to downgrade from Windows 11 Business to Windows 11 Pro

We are trying to downgrade from windows 11 Business to Windows 11 Pro. The windows 11 business is in trial so an activation message is active. I change the product key with a valid new bought Windows 11 Pro license key, it accepts it and its active for 1 day activation message disappears. No windows upgrade is triggered and in System information i still see the Windows 11 Business. I have done this for at least three times. I also checked with slmgr /ato and it says that the key is activated. I also tried with a ISO image from the official windows 11 website, the setup locate the upgrade to

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.
