Windows 10: Unable to download 22H2 update

Hi ,I recently tried to install the 22H2 update. But during installation process something went wrong. It showed me a message - undoing saved changes. When tried checking for updates 22H2 is nott showing up in the windows update. In rhe windows update history its saying successfully installed but I'm still 21H2. Please help

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

I wish things are that simple. My error code was 0x80246017, and I don't have KB5020435 installed so it's a dead end. BTW, MS lists like 6 or 7 error codes of the format 0x8024xxxx on the "troubleshooting WU problems", and when you chose next step, it suggests generic steps: run WU troubleshooter, check if your disk has no errors, is your remote disk is accessible, etc. Same as MS community; each similar error has completely different cause and (re)solution.
MS in notorious for this- if it works then OK, if it doesn't then good luck.

 

Windows 11 - can i download 21H2 and install to 22H2

Hi. I had Windows 11 22H2 updated from 21H2. But i was unable to uninstall 22H2. GO BACK button in recovery was greyed. So i made full recovery and clean reinstall Windows 11. Now i have again Windows 11 22H2. And i cant uninstall 22H2 to get 21H2.

Can i somewhere download 21H2 standalone update and overwrite it to 22H2?thx
