Windows 10: Unable to download apps even after switching out of S mode

I have switched out of S mode and am still not able to download any apps as there is no option to choose where to get apps from in the settings of my laptop. Please tell me what to do

1. Check for Updates:
   
   • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
     
   • Click on 'Check for updates' and install any available updates.
     
2. Troubleshoot Microsoft Store:
   
   • Search for 'Troubleshoot settings' in the Windows search bar and select 'Find and fix problems with Windows Store Apps'.
     
   • Run the troubleshooter and apply any recommended fixes.
     
3. Reset Microsoft Store:
   
   • Search for 'wsreset' in the Windows search bar.
     
   • Right-click on 'wsreset' and select 'Run as administrator'.
     
   • Wait for the reset to complete and try switching out of S Mode again.
     
4. Ensure You're Using an Administrator Account:
   
   • Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info to check if you are an administrator.
     
   • If not, log in with an administrator account and try the process again.

Unable to switch out of S Mode in Windows 10

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand the concern as you are unable to switch out of Windows 10 S Mode. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Build of Windows 10 S installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• Do you get any error message or code, when you click on Get button?
• Which Account are you using to upgrade the PC?

In this scenario, we would suggest you to sign out
fromMicrosoft Store and perform the below steps and thensign in
back after restarting the PC, then try to switch out of Windows 10 S mode.

Step 1:
Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Step 2:
Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
