    I am trying to download MSFS 2020 from the Windows App Store and it keeps erroring out with error Code: 0x80070422. The error message says that Windows Update is Disabled which shouldn't have anything to do with this, but, in fact, Windows Update is on and set to automatic. I'm getting really frustrated by this and about to return the purchase I made because I can't even download it. Please help. Since I know you are going to ask: Windows 10 Home, Version 21H1Windows OS Build: 19041.1110

    Problem downloading apps from the app store. - Error code 0x80070422

    Hey guys,

    I'm facing some problems downloading apps from the App Store in Windows 10, build 14393.

    Basically, everytime I try to download an app, any app, after it says "Starting download...", it says "Acquiring license" for a split second then "Error, see details". If I click on the "Error, see details" message, it says "Turn on Windows Update so store
    can show you the stuff that works the best on your device" and the error code is 0x80070422.

    Things I tried to do:

    Enabled/Disabled Windows Update in services.msc several times

    Reseted Store cache

    Signed in/out of my account

    Disabled/Enabled Firewall

    Used the Apps Troubleshooter

    And several other things

    Downloading apps works fine on my other PC, with the same Microsoft account. Any ideas what I should do to fix this? Thanks.
