Windows 10: Unable to download Cricut Design space on my laptop

I am unable to install Cricut Design Space on my laptop.It keeps coming up with the following error:"Windows 7 required"I have Windows 10 education, which seems to meet the system requirements criteria, but it won't let me install it, anyone got any idea on how I can get this installed?

I got a laptop just so I could make my Cricut more portable...now I cannot download Design Space unless I turn off S mode, which it says I cannot undo. It says that it will affect security and and functionality of some apps. Microsoft, this is unacceptable. You need to fix this NOW! The only apps you have for Cricut are mock offs by foreigners who are trying to make $$$$. Can you please approve the real design space so we can use what we paid for?
