Windows 10: Unable to download Minecraft from Microsoft Store

Hello,


I recently bought the game Minecraft and for some reason the download in Microsoft store does not start. It looks like it starts but seems to be stuck at 0%.


I Googled the problem and tried multiple fixes and none worked. Now I am just annoyed and want my money back and of course Microsoft has a horrible return policy and so I have not found any way to get my money back.

My next step will be reporting the problem with my credit card company. I paid for a product that was never delivered.


Please contact me and resolve this issue.

Unable to install Minecraft for Windows 10 from Microsoft Store

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in resolving this issue. I understand that you are unable to install Minecraft for Windows 10 from Microsoft Store.



As you have already tried resetting, re-registering Microsoft Store, I would suggest you to try creating a new user account, sign in to Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account and then try installing Minecraft. Refer the steps mentioned in the
article
Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.



If the issue persists, we might have to perform a repair installation of Windows on the computer. To perform a repair installation, refer the steps mentioned below:



Download the
Windows 10 Media Creation Tool (MCT) and use it to perform a repair installation of Windows 10. We have

Unable to open Minecraft

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

• Are you using Minecraft app downloaded from Store or Minecraft program?
• Do you receive any error?

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft and check if that fixes the issue.

Also try to download and install the display and chipset drivers from the manufacturer website.

Unable to download Minecraft from Microsoft Store

I understand that you are facing issues while installing Minecraft from Microsoft Store on your PC.



Let’s try some troubleshooting steps and see if we can fix the issue.



Method 1:



Try resetting the Store and see if that helps.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type ‘wsreset.exe’ and hit
   Enter.
   

Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Method 2:



Run the Store App troubleshooter to identify and fix problems.

1. Press Windows + I key together to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Update &
   Security and then click on Troubleshoot.
   
3. On the right hand pane scroll down and look for
   Windows Store Apps.
   
4. Click on it and select Run
   the troubleshooter.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   

Method 3:



Run the PowerShell command to re-register store.

1. Press Windows + X keys together and click on
   Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Now type in the command and hit Enter:
   
   Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\\AppXManifest.xml”}
   
3. Restart the PC.
