    Unable to Drag-And-Drop in Explorer


    I find I'm unable to drag an drop in Explorer.

    For instance, when I want to extract a file from a zip file I drag to the folder and drop it but it doesn't get placed in the folder. This occurs with any drag and drop procedure.

    I am however able to copy and paste.

    Hi Joe,

    Download
    regcheck.bat     (zipped), unzip and run the Batch file, which queries/exports 3 registry keys to a text file. Go to Pastebin.com, paste the contents and provide us the link here.

    Note: The batch file doesn't modify your system, just queries certain registry settings related to Folder associations. You can view the Batch file using Notepad if you want, before running it.
