Windows 10: Unable to enable .NET Framework

I am not able to Run some exe files on my windows

Error I am getting when I run those exe files:

Filename.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error

To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v4.0

Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework


When I tried to install .NET FRAMEWORK version which has been given in the error:

I receive an error acknowledging that .NET Framework is already installed of later versions. To try enabling the framework

I just opened the page of Turn windows feature on or off and I just checked the boxes and clicked ok.Prompt says:Windows has applied changed requests.

when i again go to page pf enabling and disabling. The Features which i just checked on it are remained unchecked. I am trying to troubleshoot this but failed to do it. it's been a month now please help

Microsoft .NET Framework, Unhandled exception

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.

Enabling .net framework 4.5

I'm trying to download Microsoft Teams, as we'll be using it for work shortly. I keep getting this BLOCKED message:

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is already a part of this operating system, but it is currently turned off. To enable the .NET Framework 4.5, use Turn Windows features on or off in Control Panel.

But when I go to the "Turn Windows features on or off" location, .NET Framework is not listed.

What do I need to do?
