    Unable to Enter Bank Gift Card in Microsoft Store


    I was given a bank gift card (Visa) for Christmas to use to upgrade my system to Windows 10 Pro. Unfortunately, when I go to the Store to do so, my only options do not allow me to use it. The "Gift Card" option has too many numbers to input, and the "Credit/Debit" option says that its has incorrect information. Being a gift card, it does not have a name or address associated with it (at least not listed on the card), and there is no website or such where I would enter that information. So, I'm stuck trying to figure out how exactly to use the card to upgrade.

    Issues with using Microsoft gift cards on Microsoft Store in Windows 10.

    Thank you for your response with the current status of the issue.

    I suggest you to try to click on Shop for apps, games and more in the Store
    as displayed in the first screenshot. Then check if you are able to shop using the gift card.

    Also I recommend you add a payment method by referring to the below steps and check if it helps.

    1. Open Windows Store.

    2. Then click on Your Account.

    3. Click on Payment Options.

    4. Under Payment options, click on Add a payment option.

    5. Check if you are able to see the Gift Card in the list.
