  1. Unable to extend volume greyed out

I have a new 4TB external drive that I bought to replace a failing 2TB one. I used DiskGenius to clone the old drive to the new one, which has worked, but left the new drive with a size of 2TB instead of 4TB. I can see the unallocated space in Disk Management, but it won't let me extend the E: drive partition to use it:Image upload isn't working for me, so screenshot here: https://i.imgur.com/pVLhDeK.pngWhere am I going wrong? I have 1.6 TB of free space to the right of my E: drive partition, why can't I extend into it?

    :)

    Unable to extend volume

Hi, I upgraded the internal SSD drive to 1tb and successfully restored my original OS, however there is a 454.57gb unallocated space as seen below:

When I try to extend the volume, the unallocated space does not show up, as seen below:
Unable to extend volume greyed out 349890d1635412783t-unable-extend-volume-2021-10-28_6-15-38.jpg
    Any fix? Thanks

    Extending volume problems

I cannot extend my volumes in Disk Management or diskpart.exe, the option is greyed out. Is it because the partition is at the end of the disk? If so how to fix?
    The attachment has a screeny.

    Can't extend volume

    Hi. I have a 500 GB drive with 2 partitions "D" and "E". OS is win10.
Have been trying to use the Extend Volume Wizard combine them to one drive letter.
But it won't work! I right click on "Extend Volume" and Next but there's nothing listed under Available or Selected and Next is greyed out. Its the same whether I start this on D or E.
Is this what's meant to happen (nothing???) or have I missed something?
