Windows 10: Unable to find Drive to install windows while installing windows 11 on a new ssd

Windows reinstall on new SSD cannot detect the new drive in the select dive menu. It only shows the USB used for reinstallation

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Unable to install Windows

I have this motherboard:

I am trying to install Windows on a Sata hard drive. I am able to see the sata drive in the BIOS and also when I boot off the Windows CD initially. When my computer restarts and attempts to load off the hard drive for the first time to complete the Windows installation, it doesnt load. I was thinking that I need to install sata drivers on startup but I don't know where to find them.

Has anyone else had this problem with certain system boards? I am able to install Windows on an IDE hard drive, but I am trying to get away from IDE.

Yeah, that was going to be my next suggestion. You can actually access the command prompt from inside the Windows installer, then run DiskPart and do a Clean command on the drive.
