Forever boot Spinning white dots with black screen no logo 0x80000003

If you can access safe mode & gain access to Windows then you can try turning off fast startup & ‘allow Windows to use my sign in information to fishing setting up this pc after an update’.

    • Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    • Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    • On the first sign that Windows has started (for example, some devices show the manufacturer’s logo when restarting) hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    • Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    • When Windows restarts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    • Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    • Allow your device to fully restart. You will enter winRE.
Now that you are in winRE, you will follow these steps to take you to safe mode:

    • On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

    • After your device restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select option 5 from the list or press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

  3. Calling all experts: Laptop will not load Windows anymore [HELP pls]

My apologies, I should have included the steps in booting your computer on safe mode.

    Kindly follow the steps below:

Hold the power button of your PC for 10 seconds to force shut down the computer.

Press the power button again to turn on the machine. Once you see the Windows logo appears, hold the power button again for 10 seconds to force the PC to turn off again. Repeat this process 3 times or several times until you see the Automatic Repair Window.

If it doesn't repair the Windows automatically, click the Advanced options to enter WinRe.

Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options.

Select 5 or press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

Using the Power Button to get to Windows Recovery Environment

This is not really a problem so much as it is a question. It is stated on this Microsoft website -

Resolving Blue Screen errors in Windows - Microsoft Support

That in order to get to windows recovery environment, you need to press and hold the power button a few times for it to show up,

    1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    3. On the first sign that Windows has started (for example, some devices show the manufacturer’s logo when restarting) hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    4. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    5. When Windows restarts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    6. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    7. Allow your device to fully restart to enter WinRE.

I am curious about this though because I have always been told that pressing and holding the power button to turn off the computer, would damage the hard drive so I am just not sure on all of this, if someone could enlighten me…
