Windows 10: Unable to get notepad++ created files

i was using notepad++ and created files and due to added new HDD and windows , i am unable to get my old Notepad++ created file , please help how to get old notepad++ files from old installed windows , i checked there is no backup folder /files available in appdata\romaing\notepad++ folder

Creating desktop icon for Notepad txt file

I used to have recent notepad files listed under "Most Used" in the Start menu. How can I restore desired files to the "Most Used" position, or how can I create a desktop icon for a specific Notepad txt file?

 

Batch Files Knowledge Base

Don't use batch files very much but one I find useful is for creating a list of files in a directory.
Just copy the text below into Notepad and save as Filelist.bat

dir /a /-p /o:gen >filelist.txt

When you run it from a folder it will create a Filelist.txt file,in the same folder, that lists all the files in that folder.Useful when you are too lazy to type all the files out yourself.
