Unable to enter numbers

In order to get clarity on the issue, please reply with the following details:

• Does this issue occur on any specific application?
  
• Are you unable to type any number or just facing issues in typing 5109?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the computer prior to this issue?
  

In the meantime, I suggest you to check if the NUM lock key is on or not. If not, please press it to turn on NUM lock and try entering the numbers.



Also, you can try turning off Filter keys and check. Please follow the steps mentioned below to turn off Filter keys:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type control and click on
   OK.
   
3. Now, select Large icons for
   View by from the drop down.
   
4. Click on Ease of access.
   
5. Click on Make the keyboard easier to use.
   
6. Clear the check box for Turn on Filter keys.
   
7. Click on OK.

Can't enter PIN for Headset

I'm grateful for your replies. I obviously haven't done a good job of explaining. Here are snips of the windows involved. I have done all the steps suggested, but I can't directly enter the PIN in the larger window. That seems to be my only problem. Plantronics hasn't answered yet, but I'll hope they come through.

 

Unable to enter password in bios screen

This method takes advantage of the backdoors built by manufacturers. The default passwords for specific vendors have been available for some time.

Here's How:

1. Switch on your PC and enter a wrong password three or more times.

2. A message will display an alert that says your system is disabled or the password failed.

3. The message will also include a number. Note the number as it will help you generate the BIOS backdoor password.

4. Open the BIOS Master Password Generator page on another computer or smartphone.





5. Enter the number you saw on the BIOS screen. Click the Get password button to see a list of computer models and passwords. Try the password that is for a machine closest to yours.

6. Reboot your machine to the BIOS password screen and enter the password.

You can always call up customer support and give them the number that came up on the alert screen.
